Welcome to Devils Lake!

Devils Lake offers something for everyone, whether you’re seeking adventure, relaxation, or simply a chance to connect with nature. Its stunning scenery, diverse recreational opportunities, and abundant wildlife make it a beloved destination for outdoor enthusiasts.

Water Activities

Devils Lake offers a range of water-based activities, including swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding as well as skiing, water tubing, wake boarding, and more. The calm waters of the lake are ideal for leisurely paddling or exploring the shoreline.

Boat Access

Devils Lake has three public boat launches.

The Blue Heron Landing has 20 boat slips for rent May-September. Sign up for 3-months and save $75!
Docks are monitored 24/7 by video surveillance.

Fishing

Devils Lake is known for its excellent fishing opportunities. Anglers can catch a variety of fish species, including trout, bass, and panfish, making it a popular destination for fishing enthusiasts of all skill levels. Rainbow Trout are stocked annually by Oregon Department Fish & Wildlife. Gras Carp are stocked by DLWID as a method of controlling vegetation. Catching Grass Carp is prohibited. Fishing can be done at public parks with access which include: East Devils Lake State Park, Holmes Road, Regatta Park.

Birdwatching

The lake and its surrounding wetlands and ocean attract a diverse array of bird species, making it a haven for birdwatchers. Visitors can spot bald eagles, osprey, herons, ducks, geese, and other birdlife while exploring the area. Audubon Society of Lincoln City offers birding adventures.

Swimming

There are two public swimming areas available on Devils Lake. They are located at Regatta Park and Sand Point Park.

Camping

The lake’s shores offer excellent spots for picnicking and enjoying a meal with family and friends. Additionally, nearby campgrounds, Lincoln City KOA, Devils Lake State Campground, provide options for camping, allowing visitors to extend their stay and fully immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the area.
